Judy is the secretary of Good Hope. She and her husband Ren are local residents of
Purvis. They have two wonderful children, five amazing grandchildren and three precious dogs. She graduated from PRCC in 1978 and began her career in the computer industry, retiring recently from Forrest General Hospital after thirty-four years of service. God has molded her through those years preparing for where he leads her to go. Judy has been a member of Good Hope Baptist Church since 2005, participating in many facets of service during the years; Sunday school teacher, discipleship teacher, leading the youth choir, Director of WMU, working with missions, as you can see she loves serving. She’s excited to be the church secretary to see what God has in store for this next season of life. She has always felt God put in her heart to be a missionary of sorts and feels in this position she will get the opportunity to share the gospel in more ways than one. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing games and crafting. |

Ashley is the children’s director at Good Hope. She graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education in 2012 from the University of Southern Mississippi, and taught Kindergarten for 2 years. Additionally, she taught at Good Hope Preschool for 4 years, and continues to substitute when needed. Early childhood education is a huge passion for her, especially teaching about Christ and His Word! Ashley has been a member of Good Hope Baptist Church since moving to the Purvis community in 2020. During her time at Good Hope, she has served as Sunday School teacher, Youth small group leader, nursery and children’s church volunteer, as well as served on mission opportunities. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, Michael, their 6 beautiful children, and their granddaughter. She enjoys crafting, painting, playing tennis, and spending time on the beach any chance she gets. It is her hope and prayer that through working with children, she can instill a love of learning God’s Word, and help children experience the love of Jesus as they learn, play, and grow together. She desires for all children to know Christ, to know why they believe that He is the one true God, and to confidently go out and share Him with others.

We are conveniently located just outside of Purvis, MS. Our church campus is located 15 minutes from West Hattiesburg / Oak Grove, 15 Minutes from the Dixie Community and 15 minutes from South Hattiesburg. We are a short, easy drive from most of Lamar County and much of South Forrest County.
